Here are a few quick tips to assist you in planning for a successful installation.

1. Plan time to complete the installation.
- If you are a Regulatory Library user, the upgrade will take no more than 30 minutes.
- If you are a Maintenance Library user, it will take 10 minutes for the software and approximately 30 minutes per CD or disk.

2. Check to insure your computers meet the minimum hardware and software specifications for ATP NavigatorV® Release 6. (Refer to the System Operating Requirements)
- If you do not meet the minimum requirements, contact ATP Customer Care to review your options for installing NavigatorV® Release 6.
- If you are not sure, call ATP Customer Care and they can help you with the specifications.

3. Check to insure you have the required third party software installed.
- .NET 1.1 from Microsoft
- IE (Internet Explorer) 6.0 or later version
- Adobe Reader 7.0 is strongly recommended; Adobe Reader 6.0 is the minimum required version.
Note: When we ship ATP NavigatorV® Release 6 you will receive a third party vendor disk with all the required software.
Note: You can also install the third party software yourself ahead of time, although this is not required.

Do you have a broadband Internet connection?
ATP NavigatorV® Release 6 software includes EZ Update so you can automatically download library revisions online. A DSL or equivalent internet connection is required to use EZ Update.
