Caroline Daniels
Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer
Caroline Daniels is widely recognized by the aviation industry as a pioneer of safety information management systems. As one of three founders and the leading shareholder of ATP, a 40 year old global aviation knowledge services company, Ms. Daniels built an internationally respected and well recognized brand. She has also successfully led this technology-enabled business through five generations of technology advances to continually lead with offers of best practices for aviation maintenance, regulation and compliance professionals. Attention to service, quality and constituent satisfaction, while focusing is on business strategy and product innovation is the hallmark of Ms. Daniels leadership.
Ms. Daniels is dynamically involved and supportive of industry affairs at all levels. She is the immediate past and first female Chairman of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association, a 41 year old Washington DC based board representing general aviation interests globally. For the past 25 years, ATP has provided awards and scholarships to outstanding industry professionals thru the National air Transportation Association, Women in Aviation, the Professional Aviation Maintenance Association and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
Ms. Daniels' fundamental interest in education has led her to additional board seats at The Academy of Art University, the largest US private university for education in the arts, where she also serves as chair of the Directorship Committee, and as a member of the President's Advisory Board and Trustee for Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. Ms. Daniels also co-founded and co-chairs the Northern California chapter of Women Corporate Directors.
Ms. Daniels earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado and attended both the Owner President Management Program 10 at Harvard Business School and the Babson Symposium for Entrepreneurial Educators. She is also a member of the World Entrepreneurship Forum, World Presidents Organization and the San Francisco Opera Guild. In her leisure time, Ms. Daniels enjoys food arts, photography, and gardening and is currently pursuing a respectable golf handicap.
Rich Marino
President
Rich Marino has been a successful President, COO and CEO of both private and public organizations in various industries and in both emerging and mature markets. He has demonstrated a proven track record with these organizations which were both centralized as well as decentralized operational environments.
Previously Mr. Marino served as President of the Media Division of SourceForge Inc. (previously VA Software) where he was able to grow revenues by 36% year over year and profits by approximately 27%. This was accomplished while increasing the user base of the network to over 33 million unique users (now the largest technology network in the world), launching a new site; “Marketplace”, building out and refocusing the sales organization, as well as strengthening their relationship with their partners and initiating a number of very strategic alliances.
Mr. Marino’s combined experiences and successes at International Data Group (IDG), CNET and SourceForge, Inc. encompassed the following responsibilities; audience growth and acquisition, content development along with advertising and multiple revenue generating strategies. In addition to restructuring of the organizations, building out of technology infrastructures, acquisition and partnerships and developing key organizational strategies and visions. This made him an accomplished leader in the technology and internet space, in addition to becoming expertly adept at delivering and monetizing content and audience in both the online and print environments. He has accomplished this through organic growth strategies, partnerships, alliances and acquisitions.
He has an exemplary track record of building successful brands with outstanding teams that have increased valuations through EPS growth for shareholders.
Gregory Daly
Chief Technology Officer
Gregory Daly, ATP’s Chief Technology Officer, is responsible for the overall direction and management of technology and technology organizations for the company. Additionally Mr. Daly is responsible for production operations, including documentation library management and subscription fulfillment.
Mr. Daly has held a variety of executive and information and manufacturing technology-related positions through a career of over 20 years, providing extensive experience in software development, electronic and paper publishing, technology infrastructure management, program and project leadership and technology investment planning.
Prior to joining ATP, Mr. Daly served as IT Vice President at Gemstar — TV Guide where he was charged with technology strategy development, technology standardization, information and systems security and disaster recovery planning. Other senior positions he has held include Chief Information Officer for the New York Post where he was a member of the company’s management committee and had responsibility for all business and manufacturing systems. Prior to the New York Post, Mr. Daly was a technology and management consultant for Deloitte & Touche, LLP, and Andersen Consulting, LLP.
Mr. Daly holds a BS degree in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MS degree in Telecommunications and Computing Management from Polytechnic University.
