Position Summary:

Aircraft Technical Publishers (ATP) is looking for a Senior Accounting Analyst with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience to join our team.  We need an individual who wants the benefits of working in a smaller company, namely the opportunity to make a direct impact on the business, create and improve processes, and work directly with the Accounting & Finance Manager and CFO on a variety of projects.  The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong accounting skill set, enjoys working on multiple projects, and is very detailed oriented. Primary responsibilities include hands-on daily management of royalties and sales commissions; various accounting and financial analyses; sales taxes; reviewing significant transactions for accounting implications; and assisting with special projects.  This position reports directly to the Accounting & Finance Manager.


  • Prepare/manage all royalties and sales commissions calculations
  • Perform detailed financial analyses including variance, budgeting, forecasting and reconciliations.
  • Prepare/reconcile intercompany transactions
  • Sales tax compliance, reconciliation and reporting
  • Prepare and establish formal monthly and quarterly flux analysis for operating expense accounts
  • Financial modeling and report writing
  • Assist with monthly financial package and monitoring debt covenants
  • Assist with monthly close process, including maintaining schedules relating to reserves and accruals.
  • Prepare complex reconciliations with data from multiple sources
  • Review processes and implement improvements that will either increase productivity, reduce cost, enhance reporting, or improve controls
  • Participate in pre-close and post-close analysis and provide meaningful insight to activity, trends, unusual and significant transactions
  • Partner and coordinate with internal business units for accrual accounting and timely recognition of revenue and expenses
  • Assist with gathering information and preparing schedules for annual audits and quarterly reviews
  • Assist with implementing controls, documenting processes, and drafting policies & procedures to support the growth of the company


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 3-4 years relevant work experience
  • CPA a plus
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • NetSuite experience strongly preferred
  • Avalara/sales tax experience a plus
  • Expensify experience a plus
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail while working with large volumes of data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A highly ethical individual
  • Ability to deal effectively with all levels of a global organization and manage relationships with external parties
