Position Description:

CaseBank Technologies Inc., a Division of ATP, develops innovative software solutions for troubleshooting and identifying recurring defects on aircraft and other complex equipment. Using case-based reasoning, natural language processing and machine learning, CaseBank’s systems accelerate and improve the accuracy of operations, service and support decisions.

The Senior Product Manager (PM) plays a key role in the formation of products and services within CaseBank and collaborates with user experience designers, engineering, customers, sales, and marketing in a cross-functional team to grow existing products (SpotLight and ChronicX) while delivering new ones.  The PM is passionate about engaging user experiences, features and products that delight customers, drive revenue, and increase customer usage and loyalty.

Key responsibilities:

  • Talk to customers, prioritize requirements, manage trade-offs between product/customer needs, technical considerations and usability
  • Lead through influence, measure, and strive to build great products
  • Collaborate with engineering and user experience to ensure products are designed and built from a customer-first perspective with a focus on usability and a simple, user experience
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products, users, and platforms
  • Product idea generation for new software products or for the next version of an existing product
  • Collection and prioritization of product requirements from prospects, customers of earlier versions of the product, domain/market experts, products/solutions from competing vendors, etc.
  • Product market analysis as to how the product should behave or is behaving in the market, as compared to other products catering to the same/similar customer segments.
  • Creation of user stories, definition of product releases, content, and schedules
  • Oversight of product testing prior to release; determination of suitability for release.
  • Plan and monitor the delivery of the product into the market. Coordinate the go-to-market plan, including product marketing, sales readiness, sales support and customer-care readiness.
  • Solicit customer feedback and collect defect reports; maintain backlog of possible product improvements.

Required Skills, Experience, and Abilities

Bachelor’s Degree or advanced degree

Experience working in general aviation, business aviation, aerospace, or maintenance industry and the products and services that are successful in the industry

3+ year’s experience managing a software product: design, build, release, go-to-market, especially software as a service

Experience working in a fast-paced, Agile environment with multiple personality types in time and place-shifted locations

Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills is a must

Travel is required periodically
