It’s been two long years since the last time Helicopter Association International held their annual Heli-Expo, and we couldn’t be happier to have attended the reboot! With over 13,000 attendees, 590 exhibitors, and 72 participating countries – HAI Heli-Expo is the world’s largest vertical aviation conference and trade show. Keep reading to hear more about our experience at 2022 HAI Heli-Expo.
One ATP
This was the first time ATP has attended HAI Heli-Expo 2022 since the acquisition of Flightdocs in 2020. The expo provided us with the perfect platform to show the helicopter sector of the industry our unique suite of products. With the spotlight on Flightdocs, traffic in the booth showcased interest and curiosity. Since 2003 Flightdocs has provided helicopter operators with an innovative approach to managing maintenance, inventory, and flight operations.
Flightdocs wasn’t the only highlight – the Aviation Hub and its advanced approach to accessing technical and regulatory publications drew in the fans, old and new. ATP’s first big project after the acquisition of Flightdocs was to get our users access to the Aviation Hub directly from within Flightdocs. We were so thrilled to finally attend HAI Heli-Expo as one ATP.
Helicopters On Display
As mentioned in our 5 reasons to visit us at HAI Heli-Expo on social media – we LOVE helicopters! On the show floor at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, there were hundreds of helicopters on display that were open to view and take a seat inside. From commercial helicopters, intermeshing rotor helicopters, to air ambulance helicopters – you name it, Heli-Expo had it!
While walking the show floor, we had the opportunity to visit many new and upgraded helicopters and, of course, some classics. Some of our highlights of the event included: Bell Helicopter, Leonardo Helicopters, MD Helicopters, Airbus Helicopters, and Robinson Helicopters along with many others.

Giveaways
We always like to find something fun to give away at the booth, and this year we decided on the new Beats Fit Pro True Wireless Earbuds to one attendee who stopped by our booth. We want to take a moment here to recognize them and congratulate them formally. Congratulations go out to Jarrett Lunn with Talon Helicopters Ltd.
All in all, we had an incredible time at this helicopter-dedicated event. We were able to come together as one ATP and display our offerings to the helicopter sector of the industry in a bold way. Our experience at 2022 HAI Heli-Expo was one to remember, and we are already looking forward to seeing everyone again next year from March 6-9 in Atlanta, Georgia!
